What Are You?

I simply can’t help myself. I guess I am hopelessly addicted but to the things of God primarily, so the addiction can’t be all bad. Right? A friend of mine, Gregory Gibson, is the reason and cause of this web site. I am into the Kingdom of God , and what happens after we leave this 3rd dimension is part of that, but not all of it. But some people are fixated on hell. Many people hear that God is love, and then go to church to be beat up and threatened with an everlasting hell for lying, saying a curse word, or watching a PG-13 movie (PG is you’re a fundamentalist). So, for those of you who have such interests should find this web site water for your thirst. Hopefuly.

Let’s begin with a home work assignment. At some point I’ll review the following, but it’s best if you take the time to dig them out, look them up, and process these concepts. There are some options that need thinking.

Where do you stand on the heaven and hell issue? Where do you fit. Which on of the following are you?

  1. Exclusivist?

  2. Inclusivist?
  3. Traditional or Relativist?
  4. Conditionalist?
  5. Universalist?
  6. Pluralist?
  7. Annihilationalist?
  8. Don’t know?
  9. Don’t care?

We’ll examine these issues and many more. Wanna join in the journey, the conversation?

Let’s JUST DO IT! :-)

God is Love. Hell is Not.

Hey, E-man! I really do think this is an addiction now. :)
Can’t wait to see how this site progresses and the feedback that you get. This is one of my favorite topics right now as I believe this is one of the paradigms that changed my entire outlook on God and my relationship with Him. It’s amazing to me how just changing your thoughts about an ‘unrelated’ subject can affect how you act towards yourself and other people, too…

Inclusivist? I think that’s the name of my denomination. I’ll call headquaters to make sure.

OR maybe I am all of the above. Everyone is on their path. As my friend JoHn Adair says, “There is no ‘right’ and ‘wrong’. Only ‘death’ amd life’.” So if what you or I believe is LIFE, it will lead to HIM. And if what we beleive is DEATH, (if you make your bed in hell…..HE IS THERE!-Psalm 139) it also leads to HIM.

So yes sign me up. I want to join. I want to move my membership letter. When do I get baptized? Where’s the communion table? Is the tithe I give 10%, 20%, or 30%? What time do the new membership classes start? But let’s be sure and keep the main thing the main thing. And what would that be?………………….
    THE SINNER’S PRAYER!

I did it! I don’t remember if I ask that ‘exclusionist Jesus’ in my heart the night before or the night after the all-night beer bust.

Speaking of “Can’t Remember,” Lord bring on some “Spiritual Alzheimers” to the earthlings concerning the things above.

Apostle Paul said it best, “Forget those things that are behind, and reaching forth to those things ahead.”……………Like

It’s obvious that you need a lot of help Rick, but I’m gonna leave that to your wife. :-)
